ABOUT ME

A.P. Henry, a native of Griffin, Georgia, now a resident of Barnesville for the last six years, has been “arting since the age of two”—a passion that he knew would turn into a lifelong profession at that very early age.

Being homeschooled as a child afforded Henry the opportunity to fine-tune his model-building,sculpting, woodworking, and sketching and painting skills. Later, he attended Gordon State College and graduated Suma Cum Laude with double honors and an Associate’s Degree in Art. Since, launching his professional career in 2012, Henry also enjoys using his time and talent for charities and non-profits both in the Barnesville-Lamar County area and around the United States.

Henry, also an Eagle Scout, has further set the stage in his career by painting and “muralizing” not just local municipalities here in Georgia, but locations around the United States and the globe. In 2016, he along with nearly 25 other artists, traveled to Amsterdam to complete a nearly 80-foot long mural for the new Heineken Experience at the original Heineken Brewery (now turned tourist attraction).

Early in 2017, Henry was approached by the producers of HBO’s Sharp Objects (a new series based on the novel by Gillian Flynn) to paint two murals in downtown Barnesville, Georgia, one of which would soon famously depict the small fictional Missourian town of Wind Gap—the dilapidated town from Flynn’s novel.

Borrowing from the very vintage, to the most distinct and clean of modern inspirations, Andrew Patrick Henry’s artistic visions and creations stay in high demand.
